I turned on my computer for my daily gaming session as usual, which lasted at least 2 hours to all day. I logged into my account for gaming, I was ready to start what ever game I felt like. Which at the moment was a RPG, mixed genre , with a lot of shooting or fighting involved. As usual, my name popped up or more like my gamer tag popped up saying, "Welcome msfightera I see you have returned." I then said aloud, "Why wouldn't I return? Your like my best friend." I was talking to myself knowing it wouldn't reply, and sadly, yes the computer was a friend to me. But it wouldn't bail on me or leave me because I made a mistake. Truly though, I couldn't really be friends with it. it is just a computer after all. I was then about to go onto Steam to see if there were any new games I could play, when a page popped up.
It took a few momentary seconds to load. There on the page it said 'You have won a game to play for free." I then loudly said, "Yeah, that what winning is you get something for free, I am truly wondering how stupid people are getting now-a-days". Returning my attention to the page once again, it read, "Press accept to receive your game." I was about to scan it for being a virus, but it wouldn't let me. I wasn't going to endanger my computer so I pressed the red button in the corner of the page with an "x" in it. Once again, it wouldn't let me, so i tried to turn off my computer. The page was still not letting me exit. So I said, "Screw it", I clicked accept. To my surprise, it allowed me to do that. It began to download surprisingly faster than most downloads.
I got up from my black computer chair. It rolled away as I got up. I walked away from my computer and out of the room to my small but nicely put together kitchen. I opened the plain, white cupboard to reach for my s'mores poptarts stashed in the most hidden spot, which was the back, guarded by Captain Crunch himself. I quickly grabbed the s'mores poptarts and began my return to my computer to check the download. I was at my doorway of my game room, when my phone began to ring, I answered it. When I put the phone to my ear, I heard my cousin, Micka. She screamed, "Have you heard a whole bunch of people have started going missing."
I froze full of shock and said, "What do you mean? People just don't go missing all at the same time."
"I think some really weird stuff is happening, that's all I am sure of at the moment, but for now I want you to just stay safe." and with that she ended the call.
I sat down on the computer chair and sighed and said, "What is happening now days? People going missing in large masses? What's next, being sucked into video games?" I then laughed at my comment about being sucked into video games, I truly think it would be fun, but that is just a guess.
I then return my attention to my computer. There, the same page was sitting right where it was before but 59 percent done. I sighed and began to eat my s'mores poptarts, seeing as how I had grabbed them for that exact purpose. I then got bored and decided to mess with stuff on my phone. I got bored with that also and so I decided to wander around my house. I was about to enter my kitchen when my hands went numb. My arms lost all feeling next. Then after long enough, my whole body tingled with numbness. I felt myself getting extremely dizzy all of a sudden. I had to lean against the counter to keep myself from falling. Every thing felt distant and dark like I was being pulled away from reality, until I was finally engulfed in darkness.
I woke up laying on what felt like metal. I quickly got up, knowing I wasn't at my house or in a hospital. At least nowhere I knew. I began observing my area, everything was like a stain less steel look and it shined alot, it actually reminded me of assassins creed in some ways. I spun around my area to see if I see a object or an exit. Then something caught my eye I stopped spinning, it was 5 panels. I approached the panel, a screen folded out and it said facial design. I was confused then decided to precede. I made it look like me, blue eyes, blonde hair, slim jaw line, high cheek bones, white a bit tan skin, long hair in a pony tail.
Then there was what said special, I made it so in the dark my blue eyes glowed blue, I could control that though. Then I decided to turn my right eye robotic, it said it gave me abilities to analyze, see better, and many other things. Then for looks I made it look like the veins that were coming from my right eye, which had a black color spreading from it and fading. then I was finished with that so I pressed done. Then the panel faded away and then next one appeared.
The next panel said body. I made make character look agile and physically fit, in reality I was healthy. I made my character "5,10", white skin with a little tan, and strong but still slim and agile. Then special appeared I added 2 tattoos, one of a grim reaper on my left shoulder, and a snake going down my right arm. The snake stopped at my wrist, the snake was black with a blue streak running down its back, it also had its mouth open it had sharp fangs and it looked like a cobra. Once again I was finished with that panel, I pressed done. It faded quickly then the next one appeared.
This panel said skills. It had myltiple jobs but I picked soldier or a person with weapon skills at least. Then it had specific skills, I picked marksman or more like markswoman. I also picked for close combat knifes or blades since I, for some reason always thought blades were awesome. Then it let me design the symbol that marked my weapons, I made a skull with a snake coming out of it and a syph sticking in the other side of the skull. It then said code name, I then typed in on a keyboard that popped out of the bottom part of the panel. I typed in Death. it seemed reasonable for a code name. I pressed done once again and another panel appeared just like the last few times.
I read the panels name, clothing and armor, I smiled at the word armor. I quickly picked my clothing, a skin tight flexibility clothing much like rubber. I then began my work on my armor, light armor was my bases. The armor isn't the strongest but it says that I can get upgrades later to make it better. I then began to work on the armor. I made the colors black and a few navy blue streaks on it. There were armor plates on it the armor and it wasn't connected to the skin tight clothing it was connected to a pack in the back were it folded up and it seemed to be extremely tiny. The armor plates were thinner. There was really wasn't much armor at all, but the armor made me look more like a guy than a girl.
I then began my work on my helmet, it was a visor that covered my face that slide to the sides, the visor was made so you couldn't see through it, it had a black tint. The rest was armor it had to circle shaped armor were my ears are, so I suppose that was the hearing part. The helmet also folded back, the folding back reminded me of dead space. I then added my symbol I used for my weapons on my armor then clicked done and another panel appeared. It also allowed me to have civilian clothing. It was black pants, a white leather shirt, and a blue and black jacket over it.
This last panel verified every thing the only odd thing was I couldn't change the name, it only kept it as my gamer tag msfightera. It then said when you get your stuff you will have everything working and extra stuff to help you. It then said "Don't die, because if you die there is NO respawn in this game, you are dead for good no second chances" what was creepy was that I thought this was a dream then memories flooded to my head. I was about to freak out when the done button was clicked on the panel without me doing it. I then felt light headed, I stumbled backwards unable to balance my self, then my body went numb, I looked down at my hands to see my hands degrading by white small square blocks. I didn't have time to freak out because my vision was going fuzzy, I stumbled around a little tell I finally blacked out.
